Wmwatt, they are terrible here about emissions, but I'm lucky. The county I live in has the best air in the state, so we only have to smog a vehicle once for the entire period of ownership

Ive got an escort weber carb on my 89 snagged it off of ebay for super cheap only paid 25 bucks i did not use a rocketman adapter but from everything ive read i shouldve used it, i would recommend that route, i made my own adapter took a couple tries to get it right anyway i run no ecm and the carb was pretty easy to tune just make sure u follow webers procedures i rejetted mine but what it came with was great i just wanted more mpg so i detuned it a little good luck
