  • Looking for list of what each fuse in fuse block does

    Nothing in Haines.

    Search here also no-go.

Shouldn't we have a stick on this seemingly-common question?

My specific problem is that both fuel and temp gauges simultaneously failed on my 92; both needles are pinned to the bottom of their scales. Obviously, I suspect a fuse.

I posted a snapshot on the Facebook page of the EVTM page about the fuses. Too many hoops to jump thru for pix here.

I think al the fuses except for the three in fuses in the engine compartment are in the one box so it should be straight forward to pull them one by one to see if any are burnt, ie the metal has melted?

The fuel METER, temperature METER and tach METER all get juice from the METER fuse through a black/yellow stripe wire.

be nice if they'd of put a sticker on back of the panel cover. here's EFI and 1989. 1st scan is for all EFI cars 1990-93. remaining 3 scans apply to 88/89 EFI and carb cars.

It turned out to be the 10A "METER" fuse. Since the above info indicates that "cooling fan system" is also on that circuit, does that mean the fan would not have functioned while my two gauges were pinned at bottom? One of those is the temp guage; is this a case where both the cooling fan and the temp gauge were out? That would not be cool!

In my sixteen years of Festy ownership, this is the first time I've ever had a fuse blow. The old Fiat 128 would blow fuses so often that I'd keep the ash tray full of new ones.
