Not sure what the top one is. The bottom one is part of the ignition and mounts on the same bracket as the coil.Ian

I was thinking that maybe the top one might be for Power Locks or something? Whenever I bought the car there were a few boxes of parts in the back that came with it and I have just now started going through some of them. I've completely stripped several Festivas and have never seen the top picture. But I agree that it looks like a latch popper.Trees aren't kind to me...
currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

The top one is the lockout servo for the auto shifter.
I would not have know either if I had not recently completed my Rosie project. After all the work cleaning up all the ATX parts and doing 3 ATX transmission installs, she is now a 5 speed and I'm happy about that.

Lots of people disable them, so it's an item that is not in great demand. Had not really noticed it before but I just checked my shifter in Trixie and it's disabled.Originally posted by firebush357 View PostComment
