  • Starting 88 festiva using screwdriver (lost keys) advice help?

I know this was a stupid idea, but Lost my keys a couple months ago, so I youtubed and attempted starting it using the screwdriver trick...trying to figure out why this still isn't working. Ignition is kinda hollowed out right now as seen in the photo....advice?

Remove the tumbler assembly by slotting the 2 screws above the column tube. This will unlock the steering wheel. There are also 2 Philips head screws on the left side that retain the actual ignition switch, remove them and you can start the car with a flat tip screw driver.
