what size wheels and tires can i put on my 88' festiva?

  • #2
you can put whatever size you want on it just depends on if you want to modify the body or not
i think the biggest without modifying anything is 15s, i have 15's on mine and i had to put quarter inch spacers in the rear to make them fit, but they are a tight fit

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

You can put 12,13,14,15 and probably even 16 if you pick the right profile.

Use this tire size calculator and enter the size tires it has on it now.

You want to stay within 5% or so in my opinion, although there are those here that do, if you have a stock engine, you will lose low end power as your tires get bigger than stock.

Also, it will affect your speedometer and odometer accuracy.

Check this calculator, you can put ANY size rim that you can find an appropriate backspace/offset and tire size. Not all tires are available in the sizes you see as options, some can't be found at all.

There are also other threads around here with tire size examples , from 15" on down to stock 12"
