  • Idles good, looses power at the hit of the throttle

Got a 90' festiva. Just put a engine in it. Got it running good, went and drove it around town for a little while and stopped and cut it off, tried to start again and it will idle but as soon as you give it some gas it acts like it's getting flooded and just cuts off. Have replace a few parts with some spares I had. FPR, fuel filter, and the VAF. Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and I had about 48psi while KOEO and starting. I did find the fuel pump relay to be junk so I have the relay plug jumped right now, I don't think that would be a issue. Will be installing a T into the fuel lines today to see what happens while running. If anyone has ran into this issue please advise

I drove a festiva home 4 hours with the relay jumped like that without an issue.
I would check your intake tract really well for any leakes or crackes. Check the afm plug makes sure it's tight and clean
