Ok guys this might be long but I am sure someone on here can help
2 months ago I purchase a bad looking Festiva for $200
the own still had the plates on it for another 6 months.
Said he parked it cause one morning it would not start.
Anyways I got it to the house and did a complete body job and floors.
CLeaned inside,
It was done with a few friends but it look not bad for a daily driver
So last week I got it towed to a well known mecanic in town.
Did inspection.
And I brought him a list to do on it.
He did inspection need a tie rod, ball joint, caliper and rear brake cylinders.
I wanted a oil filter changed. transmision flush and coolant, alignement, rear struts and my heater only work on high # 3 and few little things
He got all the parts new at a Carquest, but before starting the work he needed to get the car started for warning it up.
He checked from fuel pump to under the hood, timing every damn wire.
All is 100% and fire and electricity everywhere.
The engine turns over like new, but the darn Festiva wont fire up.
He even plugged it on his Snap On computer and it says engine not running! REALLY? anyways.
I had a junked Festiva here and brought him the Computer in it.(Box under steeringPLuggin)
tonight and he will plug it tomorow,
But what else can it be????"
Any help will be greatly appreciated. The Festiva has plates insurance but I never drove it yet!
Want to ride it soon.
