  • All about Relays

Was organizing pictures that I have taken of Festiva parts today and got to looking at relays.
Auto electrical circuits are vital to the operation of your car and if they are not working correctly, the faulty component or connection that is responsible for the problem can be difficult to locate. Here is a link to a very good you tube video that explains why realys are needed, how they work and how to test to see if you have a bad one.

Here is a link to a page that can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about relays.

Some relays on our Festivas include:
Main, Fuel, Cooling Fan, Horn, AC (Cooling Fan, Condensor Fan, Compressor)

To late to edit my original post:
Other relays: Head Lamp, Parking Lamp and Running lights if you have them.
If you add fog lights, you should add a relay to do the switching for them and also for other add on power hungry accessories that you might want to add.
