I got a 1988 fester took out the front seats back seats and carpet put drivers seat back in a drove it and noticed the fuel gauge wasn't working or the rpm gauge now the car will not start

How was it running before you took out the seats and carpet? I took out the back seat when I bought the car and drove for many years without a passenger seat with no engine performance problems.Original owner of silver grey carburetted 1989 Festiva. 105k km as of June 2006. 140k km as of June 2021.Comment
