  • AC-coolant fan wiring question.

Just installed a complete AC system over the past few days [1989 LX]. It is working good but I turned it on when engine fan was already running due to coolant temp. When I put in the AC harness the plug for the fan was 2 prong [yellow/red & green wire]. The car wiring harness [front of batttery, near washer fluid fill] had a 3 prong [Y/R, G, & Green/yellow [could be green/white due to age]]. I spliced the 2 Y/R wires but I am unsure what if any other connections need to be made for proper operation. Haynes manual is of little help on this one for me. Any suggestions? Also when I dug out the 4 prong AC plug from on top of the steering wheel, there was a single prong plug [larger white wire]. Does any know what if anything this plug goes or went to? THANKS
