    Help me identify/find a new part

    I have a 1992/1993 festiva. I'm replacing the transmission, but had to angle grinder out the axle nuts because they were really stuck on there. The part shown below became a innocent bystander casualty, and I'm looking to find a replacement. Does anybody know what the part is called, or where to get a new one?

    That's a front hub, part number E8BZ1104A

    Brand new one on ebay right now for $60, maybe available on rockauto as well.

    When you take that apart, you will be taking apart the whole front brake assembly with bearings, so you should probably look at replacing those while you are there.

      Ah, I believe the wheel bearings need a spacer to keep them the correct distance apart and the spacer is particular to the hub or knuckle or both. So if you replace the hub you'd need to replace the spacer with one of the correct thickness or else there will be bearing problems. There is a procedure for finding the correct thickness of spacer which you can read about here if you can find the appropriate old posting using the search feature.

      You might wan tot look for a complete wheel from a junk yard as it will have matching hub, knuckle, and spacer.

      The spacers are numbered. Last time I replaced my front bearings I panted the spacer number on the knuckle so I'd know which one in case it got lost, without going through the selection process.

        Thanks guys. Not the answer I wanted to hear.... was hoping for something simple. Guess I'll have to go out and find a whole hub from the pick and pull. Thanks

          Yes, sounds like a new hub, maybe grab cv shafts while your at it and the bolts or did you buy new ones already?

            It looks like the lip which centres the rim on the hub has been damaged. Can you try and see if the rim still
            fits and stays in place?

                That part still looks good if you smooth the outer edge. It still looks like it will center the rim.
