  • replacement parts?!? where do you get yours??

I recently was told that ford discontinued the left rear spindle and all the nuts/bolts for it but continue to carry the right side for some reason. lol makes no sense to me. i might need that part and i wanted to avoid getting it from the junk yard.

where are you guys getting your parts for things that ford doesn't make anymore. are there aftermarket companies making parts for our cars!?!?

please post up sites, numbers, email addys, etc...

is http://www.festivamotorsport.com a good site to order from?!?

sorry, i am new to this, i am a VW guy...lol

Good question. I went to three different parts stores today trying to find some new dust boots for my rear struts. No luck. Seems like if they were going to sell the struts that they would sell boots for it, but I guess not.

In the past I have gotten my rear axle nuts from Ford. But Festiva Motorsport has them for way cheaper. There should be no problem ordering those from them.

For the dust boots, I special ordered some KYB boots from my local parts store. Just go to the KYB website and look up the number. That was for the GR-2 BTW.

            FYI,

Amazon.com just opened an automotive section of their site, and right now they are running $20 off an order of $99 or more. A lot of stuff has free shipping. I looked around a bit, and it looks like prices are about the same as the part house websites.

Myself, I get a lot of stuff at NAPA locally, because they give a pretty decent AAA discount.
