So two weeks ago I bought the parts to replace my cv axles, struts, and ball joints on the front of my 91 festiva. The struts did not come with new coils springs and I can not find any place to buy them anywhere I have looked on the internet, on top of that I can not find the specs for the festiva coil springs so I do not know the lb/in rate for my car. All that would have been moot if one of the springs had not cracked when we went to recompress them to place on the new struts. Now I need to find a replacement set, but I do not know which car brand might have equivalent coil springs. Any help would be much appreciated. Also, I am not looking to pimp out this ride, yet anyways, I just need something to get my girl back on the road again.

People have substituted Kia Rio struts from junk yards. I think the springs are higher but can probably be cut down for your strut assemblies. Iinfo archived in this forum if you want do do a search and check it out.Original owner of silver grey carburetted 1989 Festiva. 105k km as of June 2006. 140k km as of June 2021.
