Exhaust manifold question

Festiva is better
Both have matching exhaust holes and bolt up to the head.
The Aspire manifold is made from tubular steel and seems to be restrictive.
The Festiva is cast iron and has bigger exhaust runners for better exhaust flow. You need the Aspire manifold outlet pipe to the exhaust coupler - its slightly different than the Festiva - but bolts right up.
When I put a Aspire engine into my Festiva I used the original Festiva exhaust manifol and I'm getting 41-mpg on the engine that has 153,000 miles on it. When I drove the Aspire home to be a swap donor, the best MPG I got was 36 mpg.
