I'm salvaging parts from my "new" 93GL parts car.
I want to save the entire hood release assembly, but surely need to disconnect the cable to thread it out through the under-dash area.
How do I disconnect it? This should be a no-brainer -- the bare cable should just move out of its slot, but I'm not seeing it today.
