Ive had 2 festivas that had the front crank seal go. They spit out less oil when running a quart low but they just keep getting worse until you replace the seal and replacing it is easier than damaging your motor from running too low on oil by accident

I Agree with ryanprins13. The oil slinging makes a big mess, takes a big risk on engine damage and I think the oil deteriorates the timing belt.186,000 miles per second is not just a good idea, it's the law
