I have a '93 festy,Everytime i start it and immediately turn on my lights they blink for about 15 sec. then they quit, i have had the battery and alternator checked at autozone 3 times and it checked fine, it only does this if u turn the lights on right after i start it, if i let it idle for a bit it wont do it, any ideas.

All my lights are doing it the dash lights and tag lights, it kinda acts like the voltge regulator might be going bad, but im not for sure. When it was checked everything was fine.Comment

I just had the Alt rebuilt in the Caddy,And now it is doing that , worse when on a cold start up , It's like you have a dimmer rheostat on your lights and are turning it up and down real fast .
Is that what yours is doing ?------------------------------------------------

Yes, but after it runs for a min or two it quits doing it. Mine also does it worse when its cold.Comment
