need to secure stud for waterneck

Has some 'issues' getting a broken waterneck bolt out, and ended up having to hack away some alum from the head, now I can't get any of the jb weld to hold it, is there anyting out there sets up fast and is tapable?

aluminum welding is the only thing i can think of , because the aluminum is smooth there

you mean alumiweld? where do they sell it? Havn't seen it anywhere

how bout if you use a drill bit, drill the center of the bolt out. And go buy yourself a snap-on easy out set fro 45 bucks....well worth on money

That would have been great if the drill bit didnt break in the bolt and the easy-out didn't snap off also(

shoulda bought the good stuff...my easy-outs have never failed me yet and I've got a BMW lug stud out of it with them
