Your outside air vent sounds like its being opened.

wolfganggus31, I am having the same issue. If tom is right, and I'll try today on my way to work then festies only put heat out of the vents when the system is set to recirculate inside air? I have never been in a car that does that before, but if someone else will confirm it I'll believe it.

That's the way the Festivas are. Heat only comes out of the defrost vents under the windshield and the floor vents.

Fresh air only out of the dash vents.

HEHE he's right. They only blow hot air to the floor & defrost.

Everybodys Festiva here does the same thing !!!

Like Ian said , Hot air will only blow out of the defrost and the floor or mixed , BUT not the dash vents .

Yeah Alicia said the same thing to me. OHH my heater is broken. I was like  OK i'll go look, since I didn't know what was up when the A/c was removed. Hop in the car on a JY run and it was working fine, to which she said why doesn't it come outta the vents. I told her it just doesn't. I think at ohiostiva someone noticed that also. But the aspires do have heat coming outta the vents. Maybe they can be used for something else besides brake swaps?

Dunno I've never had a problem with it. Always put it on my feet uless the window was fogging then I use the defrost mode.

I wonder if the aspire heater setup could be put in the festiva? That way heat would come out of the vents.
