Timing Problem????

I just removed the AC Compressor components from the engine bay of my 93 Festiva.

I also replaced the Water Pump.


Everything is back together and running and the engine revs fine with out a load but runs a little rough, especially in 2nd gear, until you get into the high RPM rage.


The car ran great before I did all of this.


I also pressure washed the engine before I did all of the work.

Does anyone have any ideas about what might be wrong???

Is it possible that my timing is screwed up or that I may have knocked off a vacuum line?


Any help would be appreciated.

you probably have water intrusion in the distributor cap.

My timing belt was off by 1 tooth, it's fixed now and running great
