sometimes my speedo needle bounces to the extent of 5mph up, 5mph down ect. even if im stopped. how do i fix this?

How the heck does it move when stopped? The end in the tranny has a gear the spins from the gear inside the trans when it is moving. If it moves when not driving you have some major trans issues.69 Shelby GT-350, 351W, 4 spd
