ok so the 88 festy i am buying has a problem with the ignition someone tried to jack it from the previous owner but in the process of that he broke the ignition trying to use a skrew driver to start the car. Then he ripped open the stearing collumn and tried to hot wire the car not sure if he did hot wire it but the car can't start now with out a hot wire and a jump. I have a few weeks till i pick up the car. Going home from college and he has lost the title so i can't pick the car up till i come back. so thats your back ground but i need advice on how to replace the ingition and still have keys that will run it and stay in my budget I would also like maybe a wiring picture from the bottom of the stearing collumn and maybe a wiring diagram of what does what thanks. i'm new at this car thing but i hope to get well versed in the festy atleast.
