i stopped at a gas station one day and locked my door. when i came back out, the door was stuck shut! you cant open it with the key or from the inside. i took the interior trim off and messed around with it a little and got it open, but every time i try to lock it and them close the door, it gets stuck again! anybody have any ideas? its one of the old kind where you have to lock the door and hold out the handle to make it lock.

Sounds like the linkage is not pulling it far enough to unlatch it, You may need to tweak the linkage to make it pull farther .
Is the little bushing piece still on the end of the rod ?------------------------------------------------

i'm not sure. it's kinda hard to see down in there. but i've basically solved the problem--i just lock it from the outside every time i get out, and as long as i don't pull the handle, it will unlock.89 L, hopefully returning from the dead soon with a little more power... :twisted:
