Charcoal canister question

Hi all,

I broke one of the attaching points for the tank hose on the charcoal canister (the big round thing below the coil) of my 92 Festiva ops: . Is there any harm is driving around with it disconnected until I can pick up a replacement?

You might have gas fumes you'll smell.

many people get rid of the charcoal canister.

Just stick a wooden golf T in the hose till you get a replacement , if you are going to replace it .

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm heading to PnP in the morning to find a replacement.
