Oxy Sensor Replacement questions

All:

I'm getting ready to replace my Oxy Sensor on a 93 Festiva GL (b3 no mods) with Auto Trans (and AC). I've replaced these before, but only after I first removed the exhaust manifold. (Head Gasket job)

Anyway, I don't want to pull the exhaust manifold to do this job and I know that I shouldn't have to; but it does look difficult. Does anyone have any "HANDY HINTS" on this job? Looks like I've gotta cut off 4 EXTREMELY rusted bolts holding on the exhaust heat shield at very least. Less than fun.

why don't you go buy the special O2 socket and change it without taking anything off..maybe a 3 minute job

i use a Matco O2 sensor socket

works great with the bosch universal O2 sensors [ because the O2 sensor body width is bigger than a standard O2 sensor]
