Is an efi car to carb conversion an easy, "bolt-on" type job?

I mean, can I just take the efi system off and put on a carb and go? I'm getting a 93L manual tranny Festiva soon, and I want to put a supercharger in it.

I have no experience with supercharging or turbocharging, but I've heard that a carb can keep up with the change in fuel consumption better than efi. If that's not so, I'll just not bother with the change, though.

    Any thoughts?

Welcome, I am currently swapping out the carbed components in my car for efi ones so I guess it would be the reverse for you, I found it easiest to drop the gas tank and use an efi one for my efi swap and beyond that I cant really help because I am swithing motors. Do you have a supercharger in mind?

No. I don't have the car yet, so it's all just a plan right now. It's paid for, I just have to go get it.

Is there one that is made specifically for a Festiva, or do I have to take one from a different car? If you know of one that you'd recommend, I'll gladly try it.
