sooooo, I've come to the conclusion that the heater in my car is mearly for show, it produces no heat now.....it always kinda sucked anyway :? -15 degrees celcius is a lil too cold for no heater. What I was wondering is if there is a bigger heater core I can fit in there, and I don't care if I have to cut some of the dash up to fit it really, heat is more important to me then dash cosmetics due to the fact that this car only sees winter temperatures anyhow, any sugestions? mazda 323 maybe?

No problem with heat here in Ottawa at -20 C.
What you're feeling in Halifax is more likely damp.
