Noise Tranny

I have a 88 L plus with 180,000 miles. There is a noise coming from the transmission except when the clutch is pressed in. Sounded liked the transmission was low on fluid. I changed the tranny fluid last night and it looked good, of course it still made the noise.

I am thinking it is the throw-out bearing.

Any other thoughts?

That is exactly what I was going to suggest. To mace more possative dose the noise go away when you just slightly load the clutch pedal or only when you press it in all of the way. If it dose it when only pressed a little it is most likly the T O bearing.
