HOw many miles does it have on it? Have you ever had the tranny fluid flushed? Have you ever checked the level of fluid.... and so on

my 91 does that when real cold and in reverse. what i have done is bought on of those cheap syphone hand pumps from harbor freight on it fits well in the dipstick tube of the transmission and got some of the old fluid out put some new in drove it around ahile and repeated it untill the fluid looked better and will change filter in the springtime.

its amazing what happens when you add enough tranny fluid. I feel like such a tool.
