I went to look at a 5spd EFI yesterday, it wouldn't start. It would turn over and fire abit but not run. The car had new plugs, wires, and rotor/cap, the owner thought it needed a distributor, dose this sound right?

Was there some weakness with the festiva distributor? Cause this is the second festiva ive looked that needed one.

he could have gotten a couple wires in the wrong spots.

Sounds like maybe a fuel problem
