  • Problems with automatic seat belts in a 93

I am going to search the archieves, but any suggestions are appreciated. I have a 93 Festy and automatic belts are not working on either side. Fuses are all good, are there any places I can check for probs to diagnose what's wrong. It bugs. I'm no electrician, I just do sound systems and easy stuff and I'm clueless with electrical stuff.

Both stop all of a sudden or did one die at a time?

Or do you not know because they both never worked?

      Both at same time

Both died at same time. I'm going to rip up the carpets since I'm re-upholstering the car and make sure all is plugged in again. Are there any relays I should check? I checked under the drivers seat and everything was plugged in months ago, but still have the problem. If you or anyone have idea's pass e'm on thet are appreciated.. THANKS. Joe

some times that unit itself goes bad (under the drivers seat) it should be real cheap at the bone yard like about $3-5 or so. I would try that or the fuse in the fuse panel.

          I will check it out.

Thanks, I will check it out and keep you posted, any way to test the unit itself?
