    If your clutch is currently rough(car shutters when you take off in first gear), then it will still be rough if you don't have the flywheel resurfaced. Which may also result in shorter clutch life. But Festivas have probably one of the longest lasting clutches of any car out there, so that's probably not a huge issue.

    Like Oxbrain said, if it's smooth, you can probably get by without doing it. But I would still have it done. I think I paid $20 when I redid the clutch in our Midget last spring. If your going through all the work, you may as well do it right.

      thats what i figure. im already looking at the better part of a thousand bucks to get this thing up to spec.

      1.3Liter 4 cylinder FI , OHC, FWD, 3DR, 4ST, Stud. Tires
