Car dies when I let clutch out

In gear or in neutral, when I let the clutch out the car shuts off.
Also the dash lights stay on after the key is off, then I push the clutch in and the dash lights (or the computer) go off.

when you got the car "ON" floor the gas and slowly let out on the clutch. SEEMS like this would work.

It's a 1989 fuel injected.
I Tried several times, As soon as the clutch starts to engage the engine shuts down.
I think it has something to do with the clutch engage switch, the one that lets you start the car.
If you don't push the clutch in the car will not start, I push it in,start the car, let the clutch out and the car dies.

Unplug the switch and jumper the harness. The switch is located on the pedal. This will get you back on the road maybe, then you'll need to find out why it did this.
