the specs for oil press on a 90s festy are 50-60 psi hot @ 3000rpm. don't know what psi would trigger the lite. sure u don't just need to take it out and reseal the threads? for wiper linkage removal hit the search button and type in wiper linkage and select repair help forum. there is a brief how to on removal in blind-ones post.

Most low oil switches are in the 5 to 7 pound range. Remember the threads are metric. You will need a metric threaded switch or an adapter for "American" NPT.

        >>has anybody got a line on cheaper heater cores.........the prices i've got are stupid, like 200$

If the heater core is not totally junk, a radiator shop can fix it.

The dash doesn't have to come out. There is an access plate on the firewall. If you have long skinny arms, you can get to it.

Ask the auto part store for a really sticky gasket sealer. I got some that was for aircraft assembly that worked pretty good.
        You gonna race that thing?
