Fuel pressure regulator

This may sound like a dumb question, but where the heck is the fuel pressure regulator on a 1989 Festiva? Thanks.

i looked on the internet for the better part of an hour to find a diagram or something to say where the fuel pressure regulator is, the best i could find for any kind of answer at all, was somewhere near the fuel rail. i don't know if you'll find it there or not, but trying to google things with "Festiva" in them, usually finds alot of festivals and crap.
even FORD festivals.

the regulator is on the fuel rail, and has a vacuum line going to it because it is vacume controlled, it looks like a small metal canister with a flared middle and is the only thing there with a vacuum line, I hope this helps, good luck man

This is true, unless it has a carb (since it is an '89) in which case there isn't any pressure regulator.

If its a 89 autotrans then its Fuel injected.
