whenever i turn on my a/c, my power steering quits working or cuts in and out really fast and makes that damn squeeking sound, so i changed my v-belt and tightened it to as tight as it would go. i thought i had the problem licked but appearantley not because 30 minutes later it started doing it again. what could be the problem? oh and the power steering fluid is full. :roll:

possibly an electrical issue, I don't know anything about neon's though, or dodge's for that matter.
What about your a/c compressior having bad bearings, or dry bearings, could that cause a shuddering effect that you would interpurate as the power steering cutting in and out? -

that didn't work any other suggestions? i think i do have an electrical problem with my car though because my radio quit working and it was not the fuses, and i used a test light and its not getting any power, but i checked ally muh wires, and my blinker randomely comes on and stays on solid(doesnt blink), and my other random lights come on sometimes too then go off, like when i put on my brakes me oil light comes on then goes away.There is no replacement for displacement, except for the turbo in my basement.Comment
