nope, only in gear.....only at idle, i spun it on our rollers at work, to see if it was louder under load.....sound goes away right away under a load and the tire's are rolling........once the tranny starts workin' it goes away, the injectors are nice n quiet, ..........

you're not talking about the sliding clack sound that comes from the servo in the shift gear selector housing that you hear when the ign. is on and you step on the brake?

no, if u have a stock automatic tranny, try this, pull up to a building to where the drivers side is along the side of the building, put it in drive, then keep ur foot on the brake and roll the window down. but tap the gas and it goes away. lol

still nothing to report other than, .......you have the same thing, to a tee! I wonder if it's something in the torque converter?........i know for a fact it is not the motor, the trans was as aways spotless.........i found a auto in the wrecker, i think i might go rip out the tranny to get a better look at the build........now i'm on a mission
