stupid distributor

How the heck do you get the distributor back in??

I can make it go about 1/2 way in, and then it won't go any further. :evil:

It's driving me nuts, and I want to get the stupid car running....

Your probably off by 180 degrees. It is keyed to go in only one way, look close and you will see that the "wings" are slightly off center. Line it up with the slots in the proper fashion and it should slide right in. Good luck and see ya at Westiva in June.
