After I parked the festiva today, I got out and saw a spring laying in the driveway behind the car that was around 3 inches long. Does anyone have a clue as to where this spring may have come from?

auto or stick? does it have short or long hooks to it? light duty or heavy spring? tension ot compression spring?Trees aren't kind to me...

89 five speed, one hook is large and open, the other hook is small and doesnt have much of an opening, it is very stiffRed 89LX 5speed

either the clutch, or the throttle return spring. those are the only exposed springs in the engine bay.Trees aren't kind to me...
