Automatic seat belt

Anybody got some tips on fixing the automatic seat belts?
Mine acts up sometimes it goes up when i open the door
and sometimes not. Its like it has a mind of its own. Ive
already took the switch off and cleaned it to make sure it
knows when the door is open or shut didnt change a thing.

The door open/shut switch isn't what triggers it, there's actually a trigger inside the door latch that sends the signal to the belts... I found this out the fun way once when I cut what I thought were excess wires running through the door harness and used them for speaker wires ... now my drivers side belt doesn't move at all. You might try taking the door panel off and making sure all the connections in the door harness are secure. If they are and its still not working then you probably need a new module like brian suggested
