    How do you remove the vent things in the C pillars in the hatch opening?

    as far as i can tell just pry. on a jy car i got one out pretty easily on one side but the other had to be destroyed basically to get it out. mine are really stuck and i haven't removed them because i don't have any replacements. i think they snap in and may have been glued also w/ how hard they are to get out. someone else might know better. it's been a while since i messed w/ them..

      those are air extractors to keep pressure from building up in the interior. there is a spongy gasket with an adhesive around the perimeter so maybe cut around with an exacto knife to remove without damaging. they don't go in very far as seen in the 2 bags in the lower rt hand of the pic.

            Are you supposed to pull them out, or push them in and pull them out from the inside? I just broke one trying to get it out.

              once the adhesive is broken they should just slip (pull) right out. might have to squeeze a little as you pull. getting a new paint job?

                    Those things are hard to get out, I found out when I routed my rear window washer tubing. You have to squeeze them to gather and lift upwards at the same time. I had to re glue the gasket.
