Stock Exaust Size

Hello,
I have a 89 Festiva L, that some idiot decided that he needed the Cat more than I did on my car. My question is what is the stock exhaust size for the festiva so that i can get 2 flex pipes and join them together so that my festiva no longer sounds like a tractor, and i quit getting pulled over for excessive exhaust? They cut the pipe right after the bend on the manifold side and right after the cat so that there is about a 32 " gap.
Any help will be appreciated.

I should know this...I am the king of flex pipe on a Festy...but the smallest size flex I could find in a long length is 2" which is to big...so I used adapters. I believe it is 1 7/8 you need.
I just got lucky eneough to recieve a down pipe to fix mine from a great guy, pu241.
