festy virgin needs help

hey, i just brought my first festiva (big jump from a van) and I'm loving it but there's a loud noise coming from the front right wheel i think its the CV cause it gets worse when i turn corners but it also does it when i put my foot down, its like a grinding- tapping noise

this beast is totally stock and virgin all I've done to it is changed the plugs,oil, oil filter, air filter and adjusted the clutch cable cause it was catching between 2500-3500 rpm's and would just rev like crazy but I'm after a bit more power, i don't wanna go all out and do an engine transplant but just give it a bit more go

yeppers, it's the cv joint..

may want to check front and rear wheel bearings as well.

they were my first thought but their all ok

It's your CV joints then. It's not hard to replace them, and takes an afternoon to do.
