  • Help on front brakes

    i haven't worked on any brakes before can someone give me some help on replacing the front brake pads.
    1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport(Sold)
    1999 Ford Mustang Gt 35th ann. (Sold)
    1993 Ford Festiva Gl(Sold)
    Looking for another Festiva

    how much of the brakes are you replacing?
    Trees aren't kind to me...

    currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
    94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

      Go to http://www.fordcds.com and download yourself a manual.

      Without going into detail, I'll say that front brakes (pads anyway) are really easy to do.

        Be a lot easier if you put you location in your profile!
        So we can if someone is close by and could come over and give you a hand!
        Otherwise a Hayness or an OEM manual will go a long ways tgetting that job done.
