  • Headlight Failure

Ok, I have read and searched the topics here on headlight problems. Mine is that there is NO high or low beams and they just quit all of a sudden. The fuseable links are fine and the bulbs are not bad. Is it possible the combination switch is bad? Any suggestions?

This happened in 2 different festivas 1990 & 1991. Both have parking, turn signals but no low or high beams.
    Current cars:
    2005 Mercedes-Benz SLK350
    2007 Hyundai Tiburon
    1984 BMW 3
    1971 Porsche 914
7 Festivas! Down to 3 now.

Is it possible that both bulbs are burned out completely? Although it could be the combinatioon switch.

i am having the same problem i believe it is in the combination switch..
when i bought mine the brights never worked no big deal. now the headlights intermittently go completely out but i have found that running the stick around in a circle gets them back on after awhile. my fusible link was bad and the terminal came separated when this happened my voltage was @ v15.4 kinda interesting.
