Me Festiva was sitting for 3 days. Turned it on and out came the white smoke. :evil: Really hope its not the HG.

Be careful with that stuff. It can clog up a heater core pretty good. You may want to do a compression test or maybe check for coolant in the oil, or bubbles from the radiator before you go pouring snake oil into your cooling system or tearing the engine apart.Axlander9289, brother of ThisVelologist

It really isn't too hard to replace the headgasket so it is done properly.Comment

stay away from sealents, bad juju.... test first, then fix properly. you can't go wrong w/ that method.Trees aren't kind to me...

if you have the tools you need, it'll take 3 hours tops taking your time. i know with my one festy, i can get it done in under one. so just pick a lasy saturday and grab a six-pack and a good friend...Trees aren't kind to me...

the one time i had to change a blown valve (always check your oil!!!especially if you know it burns it!! LOL) i had the head off in under an hour

never put that sealant stuff in your radiator, it clogs crap up. You can still drive the car until you have time to replace the HG. The smoke should stop after a little bit.
