How remove horn pad on '88? Removed two screws on back side but can't figure out some secret connectors that won't release the horn pad. Trying to replace the turn signal mech.

you do not need to remove the pad....just take out the square center piece. It pops off with a flathead screwdriver pretty easy. Then you can take off the nut holding the steering wheel on and you are on your way to repairing that signal switch."FLTG4LIFE" @FINALLEVEL , "PBH"

LOL...no puller....no puller.....just pull and wiggle from side to side (the wheel not your body), it will let loose. I have done numerous ones that way and have yet not to be able to get one off."FLTG4LIFE" @FINALLEVEL , "PBH"
