isnt the engine supposed to idle up when you turn on the a/c switch? mine doesn't and the engine stalls at idle. any ideas?

turn up the idle screw on the throttle body to see if it helps. -

well considering the B3 is ha very small engine and the AC boggles the engine a lot.

Wellll i always wondered why my ac was disconnected.. i plugged it in and my engine chugged and died. Sad.. so im with you on this man.88' Ford Festiva
