ok, This is not for a festiva but people here seem knowledgeable and actually answer questions so I thought I'd ask. I have a 93 ford escort. 1.9 l. engine. It ran fine, then lost power and died. Will not restart. I replaced spark plugs, wires, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, engine coolant temperature sensor, and timing belt. Has spark but replaced coil pack with two that are believed to be good. had the ignition control module tested. Ran compression test on cold engine. results were 1-60 2-60 3-30 4-0. But ran fine up until it lost power. The engine hits sometimes but not often enough to start. tried using starting fluid in case there was a problem with the fuel, but no help. I can't think of anything else. Does anyone have any suggestions or know where I can go to get some help? I was wondering if there might be another sensor to change or some other test I can run. Thank you in advance for any help.

you have no compression, therefore you have no running engine. you need compression for the A/F mix to fire with spark, not having compression means all of your A/F charge is going somewhere else. something to try: remove timing belt from cam sprocket and rotate engine 360*, then replace timing belt and try to turn over or run compression check. you may have cam 180* off where it should be so your valve events are not matching your spark events.Trees aren't kind to me...
