    Im sure i will be under the hood fixing something,,,i think i have rust in the radiator, any best way to clean it out?
    previous cars to fix up;
    86 300ZX
    85 RX7 GSL
    88 Corolla FX
    89 Festiva LX 2bbl 5 speed

    flush and backflush. best way to do this is with radiator out of the car, that way you can slosh stuff around and loosen it up. also flush and backflush the heater core (do this in the car). and then push water through the block.
    Trees aren't kind to me...

    currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
    94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

        I bought a Prestone flush kit , really cheap and very very easy .

        It goes inline and it flushes it for you , I bought some of the radiator flush , drove around a little , then used the flush kit .

        When you are done , you put the cap back on it and it stays on your car , till next time .

        Just read the instructions
